Where the (pre) love for development originated

Where did the cloud adventure start? Hendrik once fell in love with technology via a C++ floppy disk. From an early age, Jaap has loved everything related to software, hardware and physics. So it came as no surprise that he found a job in IT and is still working with a lot of energy in this field. And Joe has been solving puzzles, playing with lego and the Rubix's Cube since he can remember. Do you spot Joe with his lego puzzle?

The love for development, and specifically the cloud, has continued. Hendrik is Azure Solutions Architect, Jaap Cloud Developer and Joe Intern Cloud Developer at TeamValue. Together with the other colleagues, they form team Cloud. Together with team BI and Agile Transformations, we are working on The Golden Path — the way to software that really adds value.

Why we're still in love with the cloud

For Jaap, working in consultancy is important. No day and assignment is the same, you learn a lot and there is less risk of getting bored with the solution, technology and the team because they also vary. “There is always a challenge to get the right information and ultimately use it to tackle the problem,” says Joe. Hendrik adds: “Our field is always evolving and you are busy with creativity in the abstract. The security component, which has become increasingly important in recent years, makes our work valuable and challenging.” Jaap: “The opportunities you get to work as a team member with new techniques, challenging assignments and a club of fun people mean that I'm still in love with the cloud and that will stay for a while for a while!
