In love with Agile Transformations
Where the (pre) love for digital transformations originated
“Nothing is more fun than making teams more mature and better that they ultimately no longer need you. Just to discuss what people find exciting, where it hurts and where team members dive for responsibility,” says our Agile Coach Franka. She adds: “I've always loved coaching teams, but I noticed that it was especially fun with 'chaos' in the teams. In addition, I worked with many IT specialists at my previous employer, and it was precisely with those specialists that I felt like a click”. With a lot of experience as Project Manager, Sales Coach and Talent Manager, Franka noticed that it was time to really guide those digital transformations within DevOps teams. And that's how it happened!
Years ago, colleague Alex also fell in love with Agile working. “I ended up in a major software development process where people had to develop faster, better and cheaper. On paper, the change was completely thought out, but change is still primarily about people. I was asked to supervise this and it gave me a great thrill to achieve the desired result together. Organizations no longer need to be hierarchical and management-driven to be successful. Multidisciplinary teams. If you don't have one yet, get moving!”
Why we're still in love with the Agile way of work
There is still so much that everyone can learn. From themselves, from each other, from other organizations and new techniques and tools. The world is changing rapidly and we've never really learned.” Challenge is number one,” says Franka. “As an Agile Coach, I help our customers implement their Golden Path. I implement 1 way of working, based on the Agile Principles. My most important role is coaching various DevOps teams in achieving business goals”.
No team is the same. Every assignment you do in consultancy is challenging. For example, for each organization, we look at where the real problem lies, where we can deliver value first and how we can expand that in a healthy way, resulting in permanent behavioral change!
Alex agrees. “No team is the same, but no day is the same either! We keep improving and transforming because change is the only constant”. According to him, there should be a good podcast. One with its legs on the table. About change processes. And why they are sometimes seriously exciting and also very valuable!
